when i first listened to Dirty Beaches’ album Badlands i gotta say, i fucking hated it

i remember thinking “how could someone fit in so much hipster bullshit in one album”

but now? i’m fucking in love with it. the extreme lo-fi distortion mixed with the 60’s doo-wop and rocabilly influences just drive me insane. and Hungtai’s crooning is so sexy and makes me kinda moist down there.
