Top Loader | Head Above Water
Chipmusic with some hints of chillwave/ambience. Good stuff with tasty melodies.
Ro-Bear | High-Waisted Skirts
I have no idea why nobody’s posted anything on tumblr about Ro-Bear yet because he is a chiptune genius. He’s even got a FREE album out full of dank Gameboy jams on Bandcamp.
Ro-Bear has a Gameboy chiptune album, Three Years.
Get it on his bandcamp in a Pay-What-You-Want format. Download for free or donate to this amazing dude.
Something I did early last year that was supposed to be on the ‘first crush’ ep - featuring c64 guitar leads by damon from infinity shred
Sabrepulse | Make U Wanna (feat. Infinity Shred)
First played in Blip Festival Tokyo @ KOENJI HIGH, October 21, 2012.
This originally was the result of a rather heated debate with a friend that despite all of its limited audio featureset… a NES can actually make bass-heavy growls without the need of samples (even something as dirty as a distorted reese bass is perfectly doable in just 2A03 pulse channels!) And what is more fitting than to pair such a sinister technique… than with the absolutely adorable phrases that maids & idols in cosplay cafes all over Akiba recite in glee in order to pamper their clientele?
