Part of an old fashion illustration project i did back in college!.
Illustrator John Woo’s playful He Wears It series embraces the forces of fashion, putting the Star Wars cast in contemporary brands. The illustration series pairs characters with Woo’s favorite brands, carefully selected to match the look and personality of the different characters. He says the hardest to design for was Jar Jar: “I had to totally change his image and still had to match his face and body.” If you are more of a Star Wars nerd than a fashion nerd, it’s a mini-education to look up each of the brands that Woo picked.

ReCraft Your Guitar: Birdfish by Teuffel
Mil Garofalo from Luxemburg was the first person to purchase a birdfish. Since then this guitar has become widely recognized. It has appeared in many books and has become a part of many private guitar collections. The British magazine „Guitarist“ picked it as one of the most important guitars of the 20th century. The birdfish has won three design awards and is on display in several museums. It is played by musicians such as David Torn, Henry Kaiser, Hans Zimmer, Billy Gibbons, Dusty Hill, Page Hamilton, Kirk Hammett, Amir Derakh and many others.
